Description
Don’t let the size fool you—the Jackson JS Series Dinky Minion JS1X shrinks the body without shrinking the attitude. Built on a 22.5″ scale (2/3 the length of a standard guitar), it’s a natural fit for younger players or smaller hands, and just as handy for touring musicians who want a grab-and-go guitar that doesn’t compromise on tone or playability.
The poplar Dinky body pairs with a bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite rods for stability under pitch changes and tuning stress. On top sits a 12″ radius amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays, giving you fast access all the way up the neck thanks to a sculpted heel. The rear-angled Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock keeps string tension even across all six strings for reliable tuning.
Tone comes from a matched pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets—bright and articulate in the neck, thick and aggressive at the bridge, with plenty of gain on tap for lead work. A three-way toggle switch plus single volume and tone knobs keep the controls simple and intuitive, while the string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles locks in sustain and keeps intonation solid.
Finished in Gloss Black with matching black hardware, this Dinky Minion looks as sharp as it plays.
