Its arched basswood body keeps things lightweight and resonant, while the bolt-on maple Speed Neck—reinforced with graphite and fitted with a scarf joint—stays stable even when you’re leaning hard into dive bombs.
Fretwork here is built for serious lead playing: a compound-radius maple fingerboard (12″ to 16″) flattens out as you climb, so bends stay in tune all the way up the 24 jumbo frets. White binding wraps both the fingerboard and the black-painted, pointed 6-in-line headstock, with pearloid sharkfin inlays marking your position and a white Jackson logo finishing the look.
Under the hood, two Jackson JE10 humbuckers with ceramic magnets push out the high-output tone this body style is known for—tight low end, cutting mids, and enough gain-friendly output to drive an amp into saturation.
