Description
The JS22 DKA proves you don’t need a big budget to get real Jackson attitude. Built on the brand’s iconic Dinky body shape with an arched top, this one’s finished in a clean Snow White that lets the sharp lines speak for themselves.
Under the hood is a poplar body paired with a bolt-on maple speed neck, reinforced with graphite for stability when you’re leaning into bends or dropped tunings. The fingerboard is bound amaranth with a 12″-16″ compound radius, meaning open chords feel comfortable low on the neck while high-fret soloing stays effortless. Pearloid sharkfin inlays mark the 24 jumbo frets, giving you fast access to every note without running out of real estate.
Tone comes from a matched set of Jackson high-output humbuckers loaded with ceramic magnets, delivering the kind of thick, cutting output that suits rock and metal players who want clarity without losing weight in the low end. A three-way toggle switch handles pickup selection, while single volume and tone knobs keep the controls simple and predictable on stage.
All hardware is finished in black, including a synchronized fulcrum tremolo for pitch dives and vibrato work, plus die-cast tuners that hold tuning reliably. It’s a straightforward, gig-ready setup with nothing extra to fuss over.
