Description
Don’t let the familiar Strat silhouette fool you — this Deluxe Hot Rails model trades vintage single-coil chime for a trio of Duncan Designed HR-101 pickups, single-coil-sized humbuckers that pack the punch of Seymour Duncan’s legendary Hot Rails. The result is a guitar that looks classic but growls with high-output sustain, equally happy carving through rhythm chords or pushing a lead line into overdrive.
The basswood body wears an Olympic White finish and pairs with a maple neck carved in a comfortable “C” profile. A rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets keeps things fast and fretting-hand friendly, whether you’re bending high on the neck or laying down barre chords low. The large ’60s-style headstock and gold-and-black Squier logo give it unmistakable retro flair, finished off with an engraved neckplate and black plastic hardware.
Under the hood, the 5-position blade switch unlocks everything from bridge snarl to neck warmth, with in-between positions offering coil-split-style tonal shading via the front coil of the bridge pickup. Master volume and dual tone controls (one for neck, one for middle) give you hands-on shaping without overcomplicating the layout. A 2-point synchronized tremolo, standard die-cast tuners, and a synthetic bone nut round out the hardware for reliable tuning stability and smooth tremolo action.
