Description
Squier’s Affinity Series exists to prove that a great Stratocaster doesn’t have to break the bank, and this Black finish version backs that up with a straightforward, road-ready spec sheet. The alder body sits under a bolt-on maple neck with a matching maple fingerboard, carved into a comfortable “C” profile with 21 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5″ radius that suits everything from open chords to bends.
Three Standard Single-Coil Strat pickups (bridge, middle, neck) run through the familiar 5-position blade switch, giving you the full range of Strat tones from glassy neck warmth to that quacky in-between bridge/middle bite. Master volume plus two tone controls (neck and middle) keep shaping simple and intuitive.
Hardware is chrome throughout, with a synchronous tremolo bridge and standard arm for pitch dives and subtle vibrato, a synthetic bone nut, and standard die-cast tuners for reliable tuning stability. White plastic control knobs and a white switch tip round out the classic aesthetic against the Black finish.
