Description
The Progression Plus takes Godin’s original Progression formula and sharpens it, pairing two GS-2 single-coils at the neck and middle with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. rails humbucker at the bridge for extra grind when you need it. The body has been reshaped into a rounded, contoured profile that sits comfortably against the player, and it’s finished here in a striking Trans Cream high-gloss over Canadian Laurentian Basswood.
What separates this guitar from a standard HSS is the onboard H.D.R. (High-Definition Revoicer). One push of a button flips the pickups from passive to active, effectively rewriting the frequency response of all three – giving you five distinct passive voices and five active ones from the same 5-way switch. It’s a genuinely different-sounding instrument depending on which mode you’re in, without ever touching a patch cable.
Godin’s Tru-Loc Trem system lets you dial in and lock your preferred arm position with an Allen key, so the bar stays exactly where you set it while still moving freely through your personal comfort zone. A bolt-on maple neck with rosewone… rosewood fingerboard, 12″ radius, and Graphtech nut keeps playability smooth across all 22 frets.
