Description
Fender dug back into the archives for this Limited Edition HM Strat, recreating the same aggressive spec sheet that made the original 1988-1992 run a legitimate rival to the superstrat crowd. It’s built in the same factory that produced the originals, and it carries the attitude to match its Flash Pink finish.
The thin “C”-shaped neck is where things get unusual: a 25.1″ scale length paired with a 17″ radius maple fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets. That flatter radius makes wide bends and fast lead runs feel almost effortless, whether you’re chasing shred lines or dive-bombing your way through a solo. Speaking of dive-bombs, a recessed Floyd Rose Special bridge holds tuning rock-solid no matter how hard you push it.
Electronics follow the HSS blueprint fans of this model expect. The bridge humbucker delivers thick, high-gain tones for riffing and leads, but it splits to single-coil mode when you want to blend in with the neck and middle pickups for cleaner, more traditional Strat voicings. That flexibility means this guitar isn’t locked into one genre.
