Fender’s limited-edition build does exactly that, swapping in Tele-style hardware and electronics while keeping the Stratocaster body shape players have leaned on for decades.
The body is ash, finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, which lets the wood breathe and age the way vintage-minded players expect. It’s dressed in Vintage Blonde with a custom-shaped white pickguard that gives this Strat a visual identity distinct from the standard three-ply guard – part of what makes this run limited.
Up top, a maple fingerboard adds brightness and snap to the tone, complementing the twangier character coming from the Tele-derived electronics and hardware.
