Description
The Deluxe Roadhouse takes the familiar Strat blueprint and quietly rewires it for players who get bored with just five pickup positions. Three Vintage Noiseless single-coils give you that glassy, spanky Strat attack without any 60-cycle hum creeping into your signal – so you get the vintage character minus the noise floor headache.
What sets this one apart is the electronics package. What looks like a standard tone knob is actually a 6-position V6 rotary switch tied into an onboard preamp, unlocking six additional tonal flavors beyond the usual blade-switch settings – everything from thin and wiry to hot, compressed lead tones. Want the pure, unprocessed pickup sound instead? The S-1 switch, built right into the volume knob, bypasses the preamp and V6 circuit entirely so you can go straight back to classic Strat tones with a push of a button.
Underneath the electronics is a comfortable, road-ready build: an alder body under gloss polyester finish, a Modern C-shaped maple neck with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, and a flatter 12-inch fingerboard radius that makes big bends feel effortless without fretting out. A two-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles keeps tuning stable through aggressive whammy use, and locking tuners make restringing quick and painless.
