The Player Telecaster carries forward everything that made the Tele a workhorse for decades, then sharpens it for today’s player. Finished in 3-Color Sunburst over an alder body, it pairs timeless looks with hardware and feel that hold up gig after gig.
The Modern “C”-shaped maple neck is built for comfort, with a smooth satin back and gloss front that feel familiar from the first chord. Fender extended the fingerboard to 22 medium jumbo frets on a 9.5″ radius, giving you easier access to the upper register without sacrificing that classic Tele feel. A synthetic bone nut and dual-wing string tree keep tuning stable, while sealed tuning machines mean less fuss between sets.
Twin Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups deliver the bright, articulate voice Telecasters are known for, from clean twang to a bit of grit. The 3-way blade switch and master volume/tone controls keep things simple and reliable. Behind the strings, the 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with bent-steel saddles adds punch and sustain while locking in precise intonation.
Rounding things out is a 3-ply parchment pickguard, knurled flat-top control knobs, nickel/chrome hardware, and the four-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate that marks it as an authentic Fender.
