Description
The Duo-Sonic has quietly powered alternative music since 1956, and this Aged White example carries that scrappy, clubhouse spirit into a modern, easy-playing package. It’s a demo unit that’s seen light use, so you get full performance at a break on price.
Its two Duo-Sonic single-coil pickups cover a wide tonal range, from jangly, bright arpeggios to thick, driving chords. A master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle let you dial in bridge, combined, or neck voicing on the fly. The 24″ scale length is the real character-builder here – it softens string tension for easier bending and adds a touch of extra warmth to the pickups’ natural bite.
The maple neck wears a comfortable “C” profile paired with a 9.5″ radius maple board and 22 medium jumbo frets, making it especially friendly for smaller hands or players who lean on extended chord shapes. A 6-saddle, string-through-body hardtail Strat bridge with bent steel saddles keeps sustain solid while adding a bit of upper-end sparkle to cut through a mix. The compact alder body suits players who want less bulk on stage or simply prefer a smaller-bodied electric.
Finish-wise, the body wears gloss polyester while the neck gets a satin polyurethane coat for fast, low-friction playability. Classic Fender touches – knurled flat-top knobs, sealed cast tuners, and a three-ply Mint Green pickguard – round out the vintage-meets-modern look.
