Description
This left-handed Kurt Cobain Jaguar® takes the beat-up ’65 Jaguar Cobain famously played throughout Nirvana’s rise and rebuilds it as a modern, gig-ready instrument without losing what made the original so distinctive. The alder body wears a 3-Color Sunburst gloss polyester finish, paired with a Stratocaster®-shaped headstock carrying the 1950s-style “spaghetti” logo decal — a deliberate mash-up that gives this guitar its offbeat character.
- Bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot markers, 9.5″ radius, 22 medium jumbo frets
- 24″ scale length with a Modern “C” neck profile and synthetic bone nut (1.650″ width)
- DiMarzio® DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary neck pickup and DP100 Super Distortion bridge humbucker
- Dual-circuit control layout: standard lead controls (volume/volume/tone) plus a rhythm circuit with thumbwheel volume and tone for the neck pickup

The three-position toggle switch and flip-up switch plate let you jump between lead and rhythm circuits on the fly, so you’re never fumbling mid-song for a different tone. Loaded with high-output DiMarzio humbuckers instead of the original’s single-coils, this Jaguar leans into distortion and sustain rather than surf-rock jangle — a setup Cobain himself gravitated toward.
Included with the guitar: a black textured vinyl hard-shell case and an exclusive Fender Kurt Cobain book featuring photography by Charles Peterson and an interview with Nirvana guitar tech Earnie Bailey.
