Fender’s Road Worn ’50s Stratocaster takes the classic single-cutaway silhouette and ages the body, neck, and hardware to look like it’s survived years of gigs, spilled drinks, and cross-country drives—while playing better than a lot of untouched vintage instruments ever could.
Under the distressed nitrocellulose 2-Color Sunburst finish sits an alder body paired with a 1-piece maple neck carved in a soft V profile. The maple fingerboard keeps a vintage-correct 7.25″ radius, fitted with 21 narrow jumbo 6105 frets and a synthetic bone nut. Three Tex-Mex single-coil pickups, wound with staggered Alnico pole pieces and dressed in parchment covers, deliver that snappy, chiming Strat voice with a bit more push in the midrange.
Controls are straightforward and familiar: master volume, two tone knobs, and a 5-position blade switch covering every classic pickup combination from bridge to neck. A vintage-style synchronized tremolo, Fender/Ping vintage tuners, and chrome hardware round out the build, all set beneath a 1-ply white 8-hole pickguard.
