The Godin LGX-SA isn’t just another electric guitar—it’s three instruments in one body. Built around a mahogany body topped with a AA-grade flamed maple cap finished in Trans Blue, this guitar covers electric humbucker tone, onboard acoustic sound, and full synth access without ever leaving the fretboard.
The mahogany neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard rather than the more common rosewood, a choice that pays off when you engage synth mode: ebony’s density helps the pickup system track notes more accurately, so your MIDI and synth textures respond cleanly to your playing. That same neck feels fast and stable under the hand for standard electric work too.
For amplified electric tone, custom Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver the push and character you’d expect from a serious rock or fusion instrument. Flip the switch to acoustic mode and the custom RMC system, driven by a bridge transducer, produces a surprisingly convincing acoustic voice from the same guitar. A 13-pin connector opens the door to synth and computer integration, letting you layer in orchestral pads, organ tones, or whatever your rig can dream up.
