Description
The Telecaster Deluxe was born in the ’70s when players wanted humbucker output without giving up that unmistakable Tele snap, and this American Professional version updates the formula for the stage and studio. Its alder body carries a pair of ShawBucker humbuckers, each voiced differently for its position, so the neck pickup stays warm and full while the bridge keeps enough bite to cut through a mix. A treble-bleed circuit on both volume controls means you can roll back the level without losing top-end sparkle — handy for dynamic playing or quick tone changes mid-song.
The maple neck wears a modern “Deep C” profile with a rosewood fingerboard, 9.5″ radius, and narrow-tall frets, giving you a comfortable grip for chording and accurate footing for bends and vibrato. A bone nut, Bi-Flex truss rod, and Fender’s staggered sealed tuning machines round out the hardware, while the 6-saddle, strings-through-body hardtail bridge (borrowed from Strat design) delivers solid sustain and tuning stability.
Finished in Candy Apple Red with a 3-ply black pickguard and skirted amp-style knobs, this guitar looks as vintage-cool as it sounds contemporary. It ships strung with Fender USA 250L NPS strings (.009-.042) and comes housed in Fender’s Elite molded case.
