Description
This American Professional Telecaster arrives in Sonic Gray with a rosewood fingerboard, offered here as a gently used store demo. It shows Fender’s rethink of the Tele blueprint: keep what works, refine what doesn’t, and hand players an instrument built for real gigging.
At the heart of the tone are V-Mod single-coil pickups, developed by veteran pickup designer Tim Shaw. Each pickup uses a specific blend of alnico magnets tailored to its position, so bridge and neck deliver distinct character while staying true to Fender’s original voicing. Flip through the 3-position blade switch and you get bridge, combined, or neck tones, all shaped by a master volume with treble-bleed circuit and master tone control – so backing off the volume knob won’t dull your high end.
