Description
This is the Strat that keeps the DNA intact while pushing the design forward — and this particular unit is a gently used demo, priced to move but built to perform exactly like new. The American Professional Stratocaster HH ShawBucker swaps the usual single-coil trio for two Tim Shaw-designed ShawBucker humbuckers, each voiced independently for its position on the alder body. The result is a thicker, more powerful sound that still carries that unmistakable Fender snap and clarity.
A treble-bleed circuit built into the volume control keeps your top end intact even as you roll the volume down, so your tone doesn’t go dull when you back off the gain. The maple neck wears a modern "Deep C" profile — a shape that splits the difference between a Modern C and a U, giving your hand more to grip without feeling bulky. Narrow-tall frets make bending and fretting chords up the neck feel more precise, and the bone nut adds a touch of clarity and sustain at the headstock end.
Rounding out the playing feel is a 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm that stays put no matter how aggressively you dig in, plus adjustable arm tension so you can dial it to your preference. This black-finished example comes with a rosewood fingerboard and includes Fender’s Elite Molded hardshell case, contoured to fit the guitar’s body and fitted with TSA-approved latches.
