Description
The Stratocaster needs no introduction, but this version gives you a modern twist on the formula that’s been reshaping guitar music since 1954. Fender’s American Professional HSS Strat keeps everything players expect from the breed while quietly upgrading the parts that matter most under your fingers.
At the bridge sits a ShawBucker 1 humbucker, designed by longtime Fender pickup guru Tim Shaw to deliver a thick, punchy tone without losing the airiness a Strat is known for. The middle and neck positions get his V-Mod single-coils, each voiced independently with a mix of alnico magnets so every position has its own character rather than a generic single-coil sound. A treble-bleed circuit on the master volume keeps your top end intact even as you roll the knob down, which matters more than people realize once you’re actually gigging.
Playability comes from the Deep C neck profile – substantial but not clubby – paired with narrow-tall frets that make bending and precise chord work feel effortless. The rosewood fingerboard adds warmth, and the 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm gives you smooth pitch control without sacrificing tuning stability.
Alder body, gloss poly finish, Candy Apple Red over a mint green pickguard – it’s a Strat that looks the part as much as it plays it.
