Description
The Stratocaster has been imitated countless times since 1954, but this is the real evolution of that original blueprint. The American Professional Stratocaster keeps everything that made the Strat a fixture in blues, rock, and beyond, while updating the details that players actually notice under their fingers.
Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coil pickups anchor the tone here, each one voiced for its specific position with a tailored blend of alnico magnet types. The result is a sound that’s punchy and articulate without losing that classic Fender warmth. A treble-bleed circuit keeps the top end intact as you roll back the volume, so your tone doesn’t turn dull when you back off the gain.
Playability gets equal attention. The new “Deep C” neck profile sits between a Modern C and a U shape, giving the neck a bit more shoulder and a more substantial feel in hand for both chords and lead lines. Narrow-tall frets make bending strings and fretting cleanly up the neck easier, and a bone nut helps with tuning stability and sustain. The pop-in tremolo arm stays put through aggressive playing and can be tension-adjusted to suit your feel.
