Description
The Tagima TW 61 takes a classic solid-body format and adds a trick up its sleeve: a Varitone control that multiplies your tonal options far beyond what a standard 3-way switch offers. With two P-90 style pickups and a 3-position pickup selector working alongside the 5-position Varitone dial, you get access to 15 unique tonal combinations – from fat and growly to bright and hollowed-out – all without leaving the guitar’s simple control layout.
Underneath the electronics, the TW 61 sticks to time-tested tonewoods. A poplar body keeps things resonant and lightweight, paired with a maple neck for snappy, articulate response. The 43mm nut width gives players a comfortable, traditional feel across the fretboard. A chrome tremolo bridge adds pitch expression and vibrato capability, while chrome machine heads keep tuning stable and reliable.
Finished in a classic Sunburst with a Tortoise Shell pickguard, this guitar wears its vintage-inspired looks well while offering a genuinely versatile voice for players who want more than the usual pickup-switching options.
