Description
The Silo3 proves that easy playability and high-end tone don’t have to come at a premium price. Built with a solid hardwood body bolted to a solid maple neck through Music Man’s 5-bolt joint, this guitar delivers stability and sustain while keeping things comfortable in your hands.
The double-cutaway body has been fully sculpted and contoured, with every sharp edge smoothed away so nothing digs in or feels awkward during long playing sessions. Up at the neck heel, extra contouring and rounding give your fretting hand unrestricted access to the upper frets.
Music Man’s asymmetrical neck shape is the real trick here — slimmer on the treble side, a touch thicker on the bass side — so your hand glides naturally as you move across the fretboard. It’s substantial enough to preserve tone but slim enough that fast runs feel effortless. Medium fret wire keeps fretting comfortable and intonation accurate all the way up the neck.
Tone comes from a pickguard-mounted trio: two high-output single coils paired with an overwound humbucker, giving you everything from chiming, bell-like cleans to biting, expressive lead tones. A 5-way switch routes through a single volume and tone control, keeping the layout simple and intuitive. A vintage-style tremolo bridge with a palm-friendly design and individually adjustable solid saddles rounds out the package, letting you dial in height and intonation with precision.
