Description
Designed alongside St. Vincent herself, the STV60 ditches the usual signature-model gimmicks in favor of a genuinely thought-out instrument. The African mahogany body keeps things light and balanced on a strap, while the offset shape and oversized 4+2 headstock give it a silhouette that stands apart from anything else in the room. Finished in Vincent Blue with a white pickguard, it’s as much a visual statement as a working guitar.
Under the hood, a rock-maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard delivers the snap and clarity you’d want from a bolt-on, secured by a 5-bolt neck joint for extra stability. The 9.5″ radius and narrow 22-fret layout keep chording and lead work comfortable, and locking tuners plus a dual-action truss rod mean setup stays predictable over time. A bent-steel vintage-style tremolo handles pitch effects without straying far from classic feel, and the vintage tremolo bridge is easy to dial in for players who want subtle wobble rather than dive-bombs.
The HHH pickup configuration, routed through a single volume, single tone, and 5-way switch, opens up a wider tonal palette than a typical single/humbucker layout — think jangly cleans and darker, rounder overdrive sounds without swapping guitars.
