Description
Built alongside Dream Theater’s John Petrucci, the JP150 delivers signature-level playability at a price built for gigging musicians. A mahogany body wears a highly figured quilted or flame maple veneer top finished in Neptune Blue, giving the guitar serious visual depth to match its performance credentials.
The roasted hard maple neck and matching fingerboard offer a fast, stable feel with a 16″ radius and medium jumbo frets across 24 positions—plenty of room for sweeping runs and high-register bends. Custom JP shield inlays mark the fretboard, while a 5-bolt neck attachment and dual-action truss rod keep everything locked in tune and true. Locking tuners further reinforce tuning stability during aggressive playing.
Electronics are straightforward but purposeful: HH pickups run through a 3-way toggle, with a single volume control that hides a 12dB push-push boost for instant lead-tone gain, plus a single tone knob. The Sterling by Music Man designed modern tremolo rounds out the performance features, giving you smooth pitch dives without sacrificing tuning return.
