Description
The Jared Dines Signature StingRay breaks the mold for what a Sterling StingRay guitar can be. Built in close collaboration with Dines himself, it’s the first StingRay to feature 24 frets, a design choice that opens up the upper register for the kind of high-speed, wide-ranging playing he’s known for. A kill switch and a single stacked volume/tone knob replace the standard control layout, giving players an easy way to chop up chords and riffs on the fly.
Under the hood, two hot-rodded humbucking pickups are custom wired to deliver the thick, high-gain tone Dines relies on, switchable via a 3-way toggle. The nyatoh body keeps things resonant and lightweight, while the hard maple neck and matching hard maple fingerboard add snap and clarity to every note. A 12″ fingerboard radius and medium-high frets make bends and fast runs feel effortless, and the vintage-style tremolo bridge lets you dive in for expressive pitch work without losing tuning stability thanks to the locking tuners.
Finished in black with gold hardware and a black pickguard, this StingRay looks as sharp as it plays.
