Description
The SOLO-II SPECIAL takes Schecter’s classic single-cutaway shape and pairs it with a pair of USA-made V-90 pickups for a punchy, midrange-forward voice that splits the difference between vintage grit and modern clarity. A mahogany body and matching 3-piece mahogany neck deliver warmth and sustain, while the rosewood fretboard with creme binding and mother of pearl dot inlays keeps things classy without shouting for attention.
The set-neck construction carries a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile, measuring .826″ at the first fret and growing to .905″ by the twelfth, so chords and leads both feel natural under the hand. A 14″ fretboard radius and 22 X-Jumbo frets make bending and fast runs effortless across the full 24.75″ scale length.
- Volume/Volume/Tone controls with a 3-way pickup selector for quick tonal switching between the two V-90s
- TonePros Wraparound AVT-II bridge for solid string-to-body contact and easy intonation tweaks
- Grover tuners and a Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut for reliable tuning stability
- Nickel hardware and Grip Tip speed knobs finish off the vintage-inspired look
- Strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010-.046 strings out of the box
Finished in Walnut Pearl and built in South Korea for right-handed players, this is a solid body guitar that rewards players chasing that raw, P-90-style bite with the fit and finish Schecter is known for. Note: case sold separately.
