Description
The Schecter Avenger FR S (model 579) is built for players who dive-bomb first and ask questions later. Its mahogany body carries a set-neck construction with Ultra Access joint, giving upper-fret runs plenty of room, while the Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge handles pitch dives and pull-ups without losing tune stability. Finished in Satin Candy Apple Red with black hardware and carbon fiber multi-ply binding, it looks as sharp as it plays.
Under your fretting hand sits a 3-piece mahogany neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods, carved into a thin “C” profile that measures .787″ at the 1st fret and .866″ at the 12th. The ebony fretboard uses a compound radius that flattens from 12″ to 16″ as you move up the neck, keeping open chords comfortable near the nut and high bends buzz-free near the body. Mother of pearl block inlays and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots mark your position whether you’re on a lit stage or a dark rehearsal room.
Key specs:
- 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets
- 25.5″ scale length, 1.625″ nut width
- Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners
- Flat top mahogany body, right-handed
- Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo bridge
Stainless steel frets resist wear from heavy string-bending and aggressive picking, while the Grover Rotomatic tuners with 18:1 ratio make fine-tuning fast after every whammy dive. This is a guitar assembled for high-output, technical playing without sacrificing neck feel.
