The Schecter MV-6 plays like it’s got something to prove. The real story here, though, is the pickup wiring. Schecter equipped the MV-6 with a modified 5-way “HS” switching system running three Diamond 351 single-coil pickups. The middle switch position brings its own twist on the classic “middle pickup” voice, well suited to lead lines that need to cut through a mix or soar in a live set.
