Description
Designed alongside Nevermore/Arch Enemy guitarist Jeff Loomis, the JL-6 FR is built for players who demand speed, stability, and a neck that disappears under your hand. The swamp ash body with arched top pairs with a set-neck construction featuring Ultra Access, giving you unimpeded reach to all 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on a 25.5″ scale.
- Maple neck with Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile and maple fretboard, finished with black 1-ply binding and black metal cross inlays (plus glow-in-the-dark side dots for dark stages)
- 16″ fretboard radius and 1.625″ nut width for fast, comfortable playability across the board
- Seymour Duncan ‘Jeff Loomis’ Signature Active pickups in both bridge and neck positions, delivering the tight, high-output tone Loomis relies on, powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment
- Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching nut for locked-in tuning stability through aggressive whammy use
- Grover tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod for reliable setup and long-term neck stability
- Simple Volume/3-Way Switch control layout keeps things focused on playing, not fiddling
- Strung from the factory with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046)
Finished in Gloss Black with black hardware throughout, this JL-6 FR is a serious tool for metal and progressive players who need precision at every fret. Note: the SGR-1C case is sold separately.
