Description
Marking fifty years of guitar building, this C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary edition takes Schecter’s most recognized shape and rebuilds it with premium materials and a pair of pickups made specifically for this milestone. The body is resonant swamp ash joined via a thru-neck design of maple, walnut, and padauk, so sustain and clarity carry all the way from the carved top to the last fret. Schecter’s Ultra Access heel carve is built into that neck join, opening up the upper register for players who actually use all 24 frets.
The ebony fingerboard wears bold offset brass ring inlays and Luminlay glow markers on the side, sitting under an ultra-thin “C”-shaped neck profile. A 12″-16″ compound radius flattens out as you move up the neck, keeping chords comfortable near the nut while letting bends and leads breathe higher up. Twenty-four X-Jumbo stainless steel frets add both longevity and a precise, defined feel under the fingers, and a 2-way adjustable truss rod with spoke wheel access at the heel keeps setup simple.
Electronics-wise, this model pairs the Sunset Strip Anniversary Edition bridge humbucker — voiced for cutting, modern aggression — with a Gold Sustainiac for endless, controllable sustain and ambient textures. Between the two, the tonal range covers everything from tight rhythm work to sprawling lead lines. A Floyd Rose locking nut and TonePros “M Series” tuners round out the hardware for stable tuning through heavy tremolo use, all finished in the exclusive 50th Gold Burst with black and gold hardware.
