The Schecter Hellcat VI (293-SHC) doesn’t fit neatly into any one category, and that’s the point. The MonsterTone pickups deliver plenty of bite and clarity, and with the coil-split switches you can dial back to something more vintage and restrained or push into thicker, more aggressive territory. On the neck side, Schecter leaned modern: extra-jumbo frets and a low-profile 5-bolt joint make the Hellcat VI comfortable to play across the whole fretboard, despite its unconventional tuning range.
