Description
Left-handed players chasing extended range finally get a multiscale 7-string that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The Omen Elite-7 Multiscale runs its frets on a fan from 25.5″ up to 27″, giving the low B string more pull for tighter, punchier bass response while the high strings stay comfortable for bends and lead work. That neck is maple, carved into a thin “C” shape and stiffened internally with carbon fiber rods, so it stays true even when you’re detuning hard.
The 16″ radius rosewood board carries 24 jumbo frets, and Schecter contoured the neck joint so upper-register access doesn’t feel like a fight. Underneath it all sits a mahogany body topped with figured poplar burl for a bit of visual depth beneath that Black Cherry Burst finish.
Tone comes from a matched pair of Schecter Heretic-7 humbuckers, wired to master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector for switching between full humbucker output and split/coil combinations. Hardware is finished in black throughout, paired with Schecter tuners, a Graph Tech Black Tusq Abasi 7-String nut, and a Hipshot fixed bridge built specifically for multiscale setups.
