Description
Extended-range players need a guitar that stays tight and articulate down to the lowest strings, and the Omen Elite-8 Multiscale delivers exactly that. Its fanned frets span a 25.5″ to 27.5″ scale, giving the bass strings the extra length they need for punch and definition while keeping the trebles comfortable to bend. The bolt-on maple neck is carved into a thin “C” profile and reinforced with carbon fiber rods, so it stays stable under the tension of eight strings without feeling bulky in your hand.
The 20″ radius rosewood fingerboard carries 24 jumbo frets, and Schecter contoured the neck joint to open up unobstructed access to the highest register. Underneath, a mahogany body pairs with a figured poplar burl top for a look that matches the guitar’s aggressive tone. That tone comes courtesy of a matched set of Schecter Heretic-8 humbuckers, wired to master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup switch for a wide spread of usable voices, from clear cleans to saturated distortion.
Hardware details reinforce the build’s precision: a Graph Tech Black Tusq Abasi 8-String nut, Schecter tuners, and a Hipshot multiscale fixed bridge, all finished in black to match the Charcoal finish’s understated aggression.
