Description
The Omen-7 gives seven-string players a no-nonsense platform for extended-range riffing without the extended-range price tag. A basswood body with an arched top and ivory 1-ply binding sits under a gloss black finish, bolted to a maple neck carved in a Thin ‘C’ profile for fast, comfortable handling despite the wider fretboard.
- 26.5″ scale length keeps the extra low B string in tune with proper tension
- Rosewood fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 16″ radius, dressed with Pearloid Semi-Goth inlays
- Neck thickness runs .787″ at the 1st fret to .866″ at the 12th, with a 1.889″ nut width
- Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and a 2-way adjustable truss rod (5/32″ Allen nut) for setup precision
Tone comes from a matched pair of Schecter Diamond Plus pickups, wired to a simple Volume/Tone/3-way switch layout that lets you dial in cleans or push straight into saturated distortion. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge is strung through the body for added sustain and stability, while black chrome hardware, Schecter tuners, and metal knurled knobs with set screws round out the build. Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 strings (.010-.056) come installed from the factory.
Built in Indonesia for right-handed players, the Omen-7 is a straightforward, gig-ready 7-string for riff-heavy styles – metal, djent, or anything that needs that extra low string. Note: the SGR-1C case is sold separately.
