Description
The Schecter Hellraiser C-7 LH brings the full Hellraiser experience to left-handed players who need a seventh string for extended-range riffing. Underneath the Black Cherry finish and quilted maple top sits a mahogany body paired with a 3-piece mahogany set-neck, built with Ultra Access for cleaner upper-fret reach. Abalone binding and abalone Gothic cross inlays on the rosewood fretboard give it that unmistakable Schecter look without straying into gimmick territory.
Scale length is stretched to 26.5″ to keep the low B string tight and in tune, and the Thin ‘C’ neck profile keeps things fast and comfortable across 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16″ radius board. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod round out the setup essentials.
Tone comes courtesy of EMG 707TW pickups in both positions, active humbuckers with coil-splitting via push-pull volume controls, so you can go from thick, saturated distortion to a snappier single-coil voice without swapping guitars. A 3-way switch and dedicated tone knob handle the rest of the routing, powered by a clip-in 9-volt battery.
Hardware is finished in black chrome throughout, including a TonePros 7-string TOM bridge with string-thru-body stringing for extra sustain and Schecter locking tuners for tuning stability under drop tunings. It ships strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 strings (.010-.056).
