Description
The Schecter Hellraiser C-7 is built for players who need seven strings of low-end punch without giving up playability. A mahogany body pairs with a set-neck-with-Ultra-Access joint, letting you reach the upper frets of all 24 X-Jumbo positions without the neck heel getting in the way. The arched quilted maple top and Abalone/BLK/WHT/BLK multi-ply binding give it visual depth that catches the light, especially in this Black Cherry finish.
Under the hood, the 3-piece mahogany neck carries a Thin ‘C’ profile that stays comfortable across its 26.5″ scale length – long enough to keep that low B tight and defined. The rosewood fretboard is inlaid with Abalone Gothic Crosses and set at a 16″ radius, striking a balance between comfortable chording and fast lead work, with a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut keeping tuning stable at the front end.
Tone comes from a matched pair of EMG 707TW active pickups, wired to independent push-pull volume controls plus a tone knob and 3-way switch – so you can split coils and dial in everything from thick rhythm tones to articulate cleans. A TonePros 7-string TOM bridge with string-thru-body construction anchors the strings for sustain and stability, while Schecter locking tuners keep things in tune through aggressive playing.
