Description
The LTD NW-44 translates the ESP Custom Shop model built for Neil Westfall of A Day to Remember into a production instrument that plays as aggressively as it looks. It follows the Eclipse-style single-cutaway silhouette, but the set-thru neck joint at a 25.5″ scale opens up the upper register for lead work that most single-cut designs can’t touch.
Under the Olympic White finish sits a mahogany body capped with maple, paired to a 3-piece mahogany neck carved into a Thin U contour. The Macassar ebony fingerboard carries 24 extra-jumbo frets and block inlays across a 350mm radius, with a 42mm nut giving your fretting hand plenty of room without feeling like a slab.
Tone comes from a single Bare Knuckle Aftermath humbucker wired straight to one volume knob — no tone control, no switching, just a direct line to a pickup built for high-gain riffing and articulate leads alike. A Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece keep intonation locked in under heavy bending, while LTD locking tuners and gold hardware round out a build meant for the stage, not just the practice room.
