Description
The Schecter C-1 Silver Mountain is built for players who need serious low-end weight without sacrificing note clarity. Its solid mahogany body pairs with a 3-piece carbon fiber-reinforced Thin C mahogany neck to deliver dense sustain and a punchy, focused low end — the kind of foundation that high-gain rhythm work demands. A 25.5″ scale ebony fretboard with a 14″ radius and 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets gives you fast, comfortable access across the entire neck, whether you’re locking into palm-muted riffs or reaching for lead runs up top.
This model marks the first appearance of Schecter’s new USA-made Sonic Seducer pickups, a Ceramic-8 humbucker set voiced for aggressive output while still holding onto touch sensitivity and tonal detail across the frequency spectrum. Backing them up is a control layout built for flexibility: 2 volume, 1 tone, a 3-way pickup switch, and a push-pull coil split for cleaning things up or chasing single-coil textures when you need them.
Hardware is equally purposeful. A Hipshot high-mass bridge and Schecter locking tuners keep tuning stable under heavy playing, while the Graph Tech black TUSQ XL nut adds to the guitar’s tuning reliability and sustain. Details like Luminlay side-dot markers and 1-ply binding round out the build with a bit of extra polish.
