Description
The LTD KH-602 puts most of what makes the flagship ESP KH-2 special into a more attainable package, built for players who need speed, sustain, and reliability night after night. A neck-thru-body design joins a resonant alder body to a three-piece maple neck carved in Kirk’s extra-thin U profile, so fast runs and wide bends feel effortless in your hand.
The pau ferro fingerboard hosts 24 extra-jumbo frets and Kirk’s signature skull-and-bones inlays, giving the neck both playing feel and unmistakable visual flash. A locking nut feeds into the Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, keeping dive bombs and whammy abuse locked in tune, while the active EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker pickups in the neck and bridge deliver the aggressive, high-output tone this signature line is known for. Controls are kept simple with dual volume, a tone knob, and a 3-way switch, so you can dial in your sound and get back to playing.
Finished in Black with black hardware, this is a guitar built for serious recording and stage work, whether you’re chasing thrash riffs or heavy lead lines.
