Description
The LTD EC-1000 takes the classic single-cutaway formula and dresses it up with the kind of appointments you’d expect on a much pricier instrument. This one comes in Amber Sunburst, showing off a flamed maple top over a mahogany body, framed by full body, neck, and headstock binding with abalone inlays and purfling for a genuinely upscale look.
Under the hood it’s built for serious playing. A set-thru 3-piece mahogany neck meets a 24-fret pau ferro fingerboard with a 350mm radius and thin U contour, so chords and leads both feel natural whether you’re strumming or shredding. The Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck and JB in the bridge give you a well-rounded passive pickup pairing – warm and articulate for cleans, plenty of push for overdrive – wired through a straightforward Vol/Vol/Tone(push-pull)/toggle layout.
Hardware is where the EC-1000 really earns its stripes: LTD locking tuners keep things stable, and a Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece lock the whole system down for reliable tuning and sustain. It ships strung with D’Addario XL110 strings and arrives in an EC-series form-fit case.
Every unit in our inventory is set up, photographed exactly as it will arrive, then stored untouched in our secured vault until it sells – so what you see is what lands on your doorstep.
