The Dodgem Blue finish plays against a contrasting cutaway scoop, giving the classic silhouette a bit of visual punch without straying from its vintage roots.
Mayer’s fingerprints are all over the feel of this instrument. The neck carve, scale length, and fingerboard radius were pulled directly from his own vintage guitars, so the playing experience channels that familiar early-’60s response. PRS then updated the formula with a modified headstock shape and locking tuners, bringing tuning stability up to modern standards without disrupting the vintage vibe.
