Born from a two-year partnership between John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, the Silver Sky takes the DNA of beloved 1963-64 single-coil guitars and refines it with modern precision. This isn’t a replica – it’s an idealized version, built to feel broken-in from the first strum while eliminating the quirks that plagued vintage originals.

Every detail here was chosen deliberately – down to the tremolo’s flush setup, which increases body contact and acoustic volume, giving the single-coils a better signal-to-noise ratio than a typical vintage-style setup.
