Built alongside Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton, the Dominion DX2FM breaks from traditional offset shapes with a chambered mahogany body capped in figured flame maple—delivering woody warmth with a livelier, more resonant edge than a solid slab. It’s an instrument designed for players who spend hours on stage and need both comfort and tone that cuts through a mix.
The neck runs straight through the body in maple, a construction choice that boosts sustain while keeping the neck-to-body transition smooth under the hand. Internal graphite reinforcement rods lock in stability, so the neck stays true even when temperature and humidity swing on tour.
Up top, a bound laurel fingerboard uses a compound radius that shifts from 12″ near the nut to 16″ toward the upper frets—flatter for shredding, rounder for chording low on the neck. Twenty-two medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays round out a fretboard built for fast lead runs and locked-in rhythm work alike.
