The Pro-Mod DK24 HSH 2PT CM takes Charvel’s Dinky™ blueprint and pushes it further, pairing serious playability with a look built for players who’d rather let the tone do the talking. The alder body wears a satin Matte Army Drab finish—understated, matte, and tough.
Charvel built the bolt-on neck from two-piece caramelized maple with graphite reinforcement for extra stability, a sculpted heel for easy upper-fret access, and a heel-mounted truss rod wheel so adjustments don’t require pulling the neck. Luminlay side dots keep you oriented on dim stages, and the hand-rubbed urethane finish gives the neck a fast, smooth feel. The matching caramelized maple fingerboard uses a 12″-16″ compound radius with rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets, pearloid dots, and a Graph Tech nut for smooth tuning stability.
Tone comes from a versatile HSH lineup: a Custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10B at the bridge for high-output aggression, a Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil in the middle for snap and clarity, and an Alnico II Pro APH-1N humbucker at the neck for warmth. All three wear flat parchment covers and are routed through a 5-way blade switch, giving you everything from full humbucker crunch to split-coil sparkle.
Controls stay simple and functional: a volume knob on a 500K EVH Bourns low-friction pot, plus a no-load tone control, both in parchment Strat-style knobs. A recessed Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo and locking tuners round out the chrome hardware, keeping the guitar in tune through aggressive whammy use.
