Description
The Electromatic Pro Jet packs classic Gretsch character into a tighter, single-cutaway package. Its chambered basswood body pairs with an arched laminated maple top to open up the resonance, while the Black finish with contrasting walnut-stained back and sides gives it a sharp two-tone look on stage.
Dual “Black Top” Filter’Tron pickups sit at the heart of this guitar’s voice, delivering the twangy, articulate character Gretsch is known for, with enough bite for rock and enough clarity for jangly cleans. A 3-position toggle lets you flip between bridge, neck, or both pickups together, and independent volume controls for each pickup work alongside master volume and tone knobs for detailed on-the-fly shaping.
The maple neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid hump-block inlays for smooth playability across the fretboard. A 24.6″ scale length and 1.6875″ nut width strike a comfortable middle ground for players moving between different guitar styles.
- Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece for stable tuning and sustain
- Enclosed vintage-style tuning machines
- Synthetic bone nut and chrome switch tips
- White pearloid Gretsch-logo pickguard
- “G” arrow control knobs and threaded/knurled strap buttons
- Strung with D’Addario XL110 Regular Light strings (.010-.046)
Whether you’re chasing vintage rockabilly snap or modern rock crunch, the Pro Jet’s compact Jet body and Filter’Tron voicing make it a genuinely distinctive alternative to the usual solid-body suspects.
