The G6620TFM Players Edition takes the Nashville® double-cutaway formula and dresses it up with figured wood and gold hardware, all wrapped in a rich orange stain that lets the tiger flame maple grain show through on the top, body, and headstock. Inside, a chambered spruce center block cuts weight and opens up the resonance, giving the guitar an airier, more acoustic-leaning voice than a solid-body while still taming feedback better than a full hollowbody.
Two High-Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups handle the sonic side of things, delivering the punchy midrange and jangly top-end clarity Gretsch players chase, whether you’re working through twangy country runs or pushing into rock territory. The String-Thru Bigsby adds smooth, musical vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability, and it pairs with an Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge for solid intonation.
Playability comes from a Standard “U” shaped maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, 12″ radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets, all finished in gloss with white binding and pearloid thumbnail inlays. Gold Schaller locking tuners keep things in tune, while the horseshoe headstock inlay and gold-plated Plexi pickguard nod to Gretsch’s classic look.
