Description
The Pearly Gates Trembucker takes Seymour Duncan’s most storied humbucker design and reworks the pole spacing for guitars with wider string spacing – think tremolo-bridge instruments, Fender-spaced necks, and Gibson guitars built after 1999. If your setup calls for an ‘F-spaced’ pickup, this is the version to reach for.
Tonally, it’s the same pickup that made its name recreating the sound baked into a particular ’59 Les Paul Standard – the one behind some of Texas blues-rock’s most searing tones. Expect a voice that’s warmer and slightly hotter than a true vintage humbucker, with a sweetness that never quite loses its edge. Sustain runs long, the top end stays bright and articulate, and pinch harmonics practically leap out on their own. It’s equally at home in blues, classic rock, southern rock, jam band, and hard rock settings.
- F-spaced (Trembucker) pole spacing for tremolo bridges and Fender-spaced or post-1999 Gibson guitars
- Slightly hotter output than vintage-style humbuckers
- Bright, harmonically rich top end with excellent sustain
- Zebra bobbin finish
- Includes four-conductor hookup cable for flexible wiring options
Drop it into your solid body electric for that raw, rebellious edge that put this pickup on the map.
