The C-1 SLS Elite is Schecter’s answer for players who want a fast, modern neck without sacrificing organic tone. At its core is a swamp ash body topped with flamed maple and finished in Antique Fade Burst, with ivory binding tracing the edge for a vintage-modern look. The neck-thru construction, paired with an Ultra Access heel cutaway, keeps upper-fret access wide open and sustain long.
That neck itself is a laminate of maple, walnut, and padauk, reinforced with carbon fiber rods for extra stability, and carved into an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile — thin enough for lead work, substantial enough to stay comfortable over long sets. A 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fretboard hosts 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets, dressed with abalone offset/reverse dot inlays and matching side dots. An Ernie Ball compensated nut helps intonation stay true across the 25.5″ scale, and Schecter locking tuners keep things stable at pitch.
Tone comes from a set of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups — a ceramic-magnet humbucker in the bridge for tight, aggressive output, and an Alnico-magnet unit in the neck for warmer, more vocal leads. Push-pull volume and tone controls unlock the pickups’ voicing options alongside the standard 3-way switch, giving you access to both active and passive-style character from one guitar. A Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body stringing anchors everything for rock-solid tuning stability and direct string-to-body resonance.
