Description
The Blackjack SLS C-7 P is Schecter’s answer for players who need a seventh string without sacrificing playability. The mahogany body carries an arched top with black multi-ply binding, while the set-neck construction uses Ultra Access joinery so upper-fret runs stay comfortable even at the top of the 24-fret ebony board.
That neck is a 3-piece maple build finished in an Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile, sitting under a 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard with X-Jumbo frets and MOP offset dot inlays. Scale length is stretched to 26.5″ to keep the low B string taut and in tune, and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut anchors the front end alongside Schecter Locking tuners for stability under drop tunings.
Tone comes from a Seymour Duncan Full Shred SH-10 in the bridge paired with a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH-2N in the neck, wired through dual volume controls, a push-pull tone, and a 3-way switch for splitting and blending options. A TonePros 7-string Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design and black chrome hardware rounds out the setup for solid sustain and intonation.
