The RRMG Pro Series Rhoads carries on Jackson’s V-shaped legacy with an alder body under a quilt maple veneer top, finished in satin black that keeps the look stealthy and the feel fast under your palm. The through-body 3-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite and hand-rubbed with oil, giving it stability and a smooth, worn-in feel right out of the box.
Up top, an ebony fingerboard with a compound 12″-16″ radius flattens out as you climb, so bar chords near the nut and blazing leads up high both feel natural. Alumiloid shark fin inlays mark your way across 22 jumbo frets, and the black pearl plus white/black/white binding wraps the neck and headstock for a finishing touch that matches the pointed 6-in-line headstock shape.
Tone comes from a direct-mount EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 89 in the neck, wired through master volume with a push/pull coil tap and master tone, plus a 3-way toggle. That coil-splitting 89 means you’re not locked into humbucker output alone – dial back for single-coil snap, or push forward into full active humbucker crunch. A Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo, recessed and paired with Jackson sealed die-cast tuners, keeps dive bombs and pitch tricks in tune.
