Description
The JS24 DKAM takes Jackson’s legendary Dinky shape and arches the top for a bit more visual flair, then loads it with the kind of specs that matter most to fast, aggressive players. A mahogany body pairs with a bolt-on caramelized maple neck, joined via a scarf joint and reinforced with graphite for a neck that stays true even under heavy tremolo abuse.
The fingerboard is where this guitar really earns its speed-demon reputation: a compound radius that runs from 12″ at the low frets to 16″ up high, bound in black and dressed with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays. That radius shift means comfortable chording near the nut and effortless bending way up the neck without fret-out.
Tone comes from a pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets, wired to a three-way blade switch with simple single volume and tone controls — no fuss, just output. A synchronized fulcrum tremolo bridge handles dive bombs and pitch tricks, while sealed die-cast tuners keep things in tune through the abuse.
Finished in a satin Black stain with a pointed 6-in-line headstock and blacked-out hardware, the JS24 looks every bit as serious as it plays.
